There is no doubt that the best (some may say, the only) way to effectively lose unwanted weight is to take in less than you burn. However, this is not the as simple as just eating less.
An app I have found to be really easy to use is LoseIt. It allows you to log food, log exercise, see the macronutrient percentages, and, my favorite feature- it allows you to put in your weight, your goal weight, the average weight loss per week you’re aiming for and it will show you the date that you should hit that target goal weight!
Although I do not always stick to it and log each thing every day, it has given me a good idea of what my diet is lacking.
One thing I have been working on is upping my protein intake. With all the exercise I have been doing, it is important to rebuild those muscles.
Here is a fun, easy to track, and delicious breakfast I made and put into the app!
3 egg whites
2/3 cup shredded potatoes
1/6 avocado
2 tbs shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to preference!
